Both sites are listed as World Heritage by UNESCO.

In the afternoon we will head to Cordoba that used to be the most populated city in Europe in the 10th century, it was not only the intellectual center of Europe but also an example of how Muslims, Christians and Jews lived in peace. Here the other UNESCO World Heritage Site is awaiting for you – welcome to the Great Mosque of Cordoba, a religious building with more than 1400 years history. Its incredible hall has 856 columns of jasper, onyx, marble, and granite, and was made from pieces of the Roman temple which had occupied the site previously, as well as other destroyed Roman buildings. After visiting A Mosque let´s roam a bit the streets of Jewish Quarter that is recognised as the second most known site of Córdoba and a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1994. The Judería de Córdoba is a part of the historic center of city which tells the story how the city lived a splendid period when three neighbourhoods Christian, Jewish and Muslim with their corresponding religions coexisted peacefully, offering the world an example of tolerance and intelligent civilization. Three babel languages had coexisted and everyone prayed in harmony and in their own languages to their god. Walking through the Jewish Quarter we will come across the Synagogue (14th century) and a magnificent bronze statue dedicated to Maimonides, the great Jewish philosopher and physician who lived in Córdoba. After a day spent in the peaceful atmosphere of the great temples you will be driven to Granada and accommodated in a hotel.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row unlock_row_content=“yes“ row_height_percent=“25″ override_padding=“yes“ h_padding=“0″ top_padding=“0″ bottom_padding=“0″ back_color=“color-xsdn“ overlay_alpha=“100″ equal_height=“yes“ gutter_size=“0″ shift_y=“0″ style=“inherited“][vc_column column_width_percent=“100″ position_horizontal=“left“ position_vertical=“middle“ override_padding=“yes“ column_padding=“5″ back_color=“color-jevc“ overlay_alpha=“100″ gutter_size=“2″ medium_width=“0″ shift_x=“0″ shift_y=“0″ z_index=“0″ zoom_width=“0″ zoom_height=“0″ width=“1/2″][vc_custom_heading text_size=“h3″ text_space=“fontspace-210350″ text_weight=“600″ text_transform=“uppercase“ text_color=“color-xsdn“ sub_lead=“yes“ sub_reduced=“yes“ subheading=“The Alhambra and Generalife Gardens“]Day 4[/vc_custom_heading][vc_separator sep_color=“accent“][vc_column_text]On your last day of a tour you will visit the stunning and incomparable Alhambra, the most visited monument in Spain, which is considered to be a jewel of arabic architecture heritage in the world.
